I gave him my number and later found out he had a bad reputation. I'm thankful I found out. he was a little too aggressive for me and super rude while he is drunk

We have had the same calls. In this case is was a Martin Thomas with foreign accent. They stated they are located in Edmonton, and gave a phone number of 1-315-633-3110. Told him we are not interested and ended the call. He called back again and told them to remove our number, and if they ever call back we would take legal action. He stated there is nothing we can do and refused to confirm they will. It contact us again. I dialed their number and no one answers and no answering machine. For sure a scam, they can't link IP address with home phone numbers, this is protected by law under privacy act.
when did this number quit calling you? It's been going on all day today and I just really want it to stop!
If you get a call from this number, just hang up. They ask if you want to buy some illegal meds and don't stop calling. If you do order anything you won't get it and they will lie about the whole thing. You be very sorry if you even think of dealing with these bandits.

It's a scam saying that you've won AirMiles reward miles. Keep this in mind from www.airmiles.ca:
'AIR MILES does not use an automated message to notify Collectors they have won reward miles. Protect your Personal Information. Never give your AIR MILES Collector Account number or PIN in response to a telemarketing call.'
This person called me several times at 4 A.M. (local time) while I was stationed in the middle of Sadr City, Iraq. After the second night of this, I returned his phone call to ask him not to anymore and was told I had the wrong number. Arabic phone numbers are kind of hard to accidently type in.
had a ring with this no.. we picked this up thinking this is a ring that We are expecting. had a static noise & subsequently a Spanish automated msg. we put the phone down right away.
This is a collection scam....These people have called and asked for 'Joyce'XXXX, last name. We have told them repeatelly that no one live here with that name and the only person I know is an Aunt who lived in California but passed away 20 years ago. After several heated demands I told them in very harsh lanuage not to call my number again. They have and I have a recording stating they are calling a wrong number or just head hunting. Law suit will be made on next call. Beware of APEX Financal based in Illinois.

323 325-3307 I received a email from this person saying he was a missionary living in Maylasia. Offered a very low rent home in south orange county. Too good to be true>
This was the 1st text in a series of three strange texts I received one after the other. Each were identical with the exception of the number that supposedly sent them. There were no words in the texts, just a Download button. Of course I didn't click it, but instead went on the web to look up the number(s). Seeing this one not listed yet, I figured I should report it/them.
The three number that text'd the same thing to me, all about one minute apart were:
1st - 253-709-7129 ('real number' according Mr. Number)
2nd - 971-263-2696 ('fake number' according Mr. Number)
3rd - 253-677-8376 ('real number' according Mr. Number)
I will report them individually.
rang & said she is with UPS & got a package to deliver to my home. however in order to deliver this, I got go pay a shipping fee for the package. she provided the identity of David Macintosh, however she seemed just like a Husane or Ayatollah. this was Christmas time & I happen to be ordering packages, however everything is paid up front. she needed me to pre-pay a $100 for the fee.
This person called my home and spoke very broken english. I told him I was not interested in whatever he wanted and hung up the phone. He immediatly called back and asked why I hung up on him and then asked me how many credit cards I had I then hung up on him again. He repeated his immediate call backs for a few minutes then stoped calling. These people want credit card info and I have reported them to the police
