This is a new scam....the owner of this number died last year, so the scammers are using the number as a "slave" default number to robo call people seeing who answers...they sell this information to others who live call. This is the third such number that has called my phone....pathetic world sometimes

somebody with a really thick foreign accent known as Ricky Shaffer rang & informed us to ring this no. back. this showed up as 0000 on our Calling-ID. The msg stated either myself or our solicitor of record wanted to return her ring the 2nd I got the msg, otherwise all she could say is God Bless us. we didnt return the ring & think this to be a con. when anybody else has got this no. ring please reply. I contacted the Idaho BBB bureau and filed a complaint on-line. I received an e-mail from the scammers today stating that my 'account' has been closed with them. The BBB also followed thru contacting me today as well asking if I was satisfied with the scammers response. The more people that complain to the BBB the more likely these scammers will be shut down. They were quick to respond after I filed my complaint. Forget trying the # - it too, is a scam.

An Indian man called me from this number and said it was a business call form "Astro Corp." and it was long-distance and I'd be connected directly... he said all of this very quickly and I stopped him and said no, I don't want fees from a long distance call from someone I don't know! This is an insurance agency (Consumer United) calling and saying you signed up for an insurance quote and to call for rates. Of course, I did not sign up for insurance quotes, so that is B.S. They are spamming my cell phone using maybe 4 or 5 different numbers, calling 10 to 20 times per day.
