I am receiving calls from this # (201) 537-5961 AND 201-297-5700 at least 4-5 times daily at my home and work. Unidentified on caller ID. Will not answer when I call? Will not leave message. I'm registered with the DoNot Call Registry? So, why am I receiving these calls? Who is this phone # registered to? I have googled the # and looked in the white/yellow pages? Does anyone know who this is?

I first found this number on my list of calls last month. I saw this number multiple times. Confused, I typed the number in my phone and there was no history of this number. The description of the call on the bill details is "PlanAllow,NoAnsBusyXfer" and it does use my minutes. I downloaded a spreadsheet of the calls for each bill for the last year and this number has used a total of 294 minutes. Unfortunately bills older than a year are not available online but I can bet you that this number is on those too. After talking to a Verizon employee about it, he recommended I call customer service to report fraud. I'm not sure what's going on here but it appears to be someone hacking a way to use my service or minutes to make calls. I blocked the number last night and will be calling Verizon to see what I can do about this. If you have this number on your plan, BLOCK the number now before it keeps stealing your minutes.

just got a call from this number. it said that I had enrolled in a program which I did not and it also said it would be calling me once a day and if I wanted to unenroll in the program to push the number 2 when I did that it said it was an invalid number.

I had similar bad experience as the others. I responded to an adv I saw online, and never received the "Free Trial Sample". When I called a pre-recorded message said that if I was calling about HCGxtreme that they could not take the call, and then hung up on me. I contacted my credit card and disputed the $4.95 charge. Then the next month there was a charge for another $79.95 on my card. I called again, and this time someone answered and told me that the product was "Back Ordered". So I told them that I did not want it and to cancel. They refused to credit back the charges so I disputed it through my credit card. These people are just thieves.

This is a criminal extortion ring operating out of India. ABC News released an investigative report on it in June.
