This person contacted me on OKCupid with pictures from the internet. Sadly, I didn't find out until after I had exchanged numbers with him. Says his name is Todd, from Janesville, 36, works at the Janesville Country Club, and is a chef. Very charismatic, smooth talking, and almost believable.
Miss Simmons phoning with the Payout Center to tell a elderly guy that works here that she has won five million dollars & needs details to wire this.
I received a text with a similar message as the others. I don't care it doesn't bother me. I just wanted to know how they got my number and knew my name?! Especially since it is a cell and the account is not under my name!
we just provided out private info & attempted to ring the no. back & get no answer. Can anybody inform us when this was a legit company?
When I picked up the gut who spoke in broken English said is this 'rod tom long Johnson?' The guy didn't make sense at all.
Have been calling & leaving no messages. Checked another reverse look-up site and learned it's a company called Great Vacations and has been a costly scam for some folks. Check it out here:
The number is from the march of dimes calling for donations I suppose. (I never answer).
However if you call back the number, you will get through and an answering machine will come on.
Do press '1' for more information even if you don't want any more calls like me, it is the first step in getting them off your list. After they explain their mission it goes on to ask if you don't want any more calls then press '3' or something like that. I hope I really do come off the list!
I just talked to FCC and they said to report to FTC at 18773824357 and to reprot as scam. I have gotten 7 calls in less than 2 days.

I also received a call from this number - agent Robert Wilson. He provided a claim number, check serial number, phone number. Told me I'd won $495,000. I called Publisher's Clearing House immediately and they confirmed that it's a scam.
left a very long automated message in Spanish - which I don't understand - probably a DoNotCall list violator
Got a call claiming I won a trip to Orlando, FL. Was very rude after I wouldn't give her my credit card number. After I hung up she called me 3 more times.
Never even heard of Drive Financial until they decided to blitz my phone 2-3 times a day this past week. They keep asking for someone (no idea who it is). I tell them to remove me from their list and not to call this number again, and they continue to call. I don't have any outstanding debts, so they have no business calling me!
This number calls me on a daily basis almost 4 times a day.I called it back and it said,'Please hold for an important message.' Like 4 times is says it. SO I hangup! They never leave VM and now that I see fraud seems to be happening, I'm a little hieghtened with my insecurities with this.

A salesperson calls - claiming you have a 'free gift' from a relative - then they will not return or accept a call if you try to cancel the demonstration of the 'gift' (high pressure sales pitch. Caveat Emptor!
ok spoke with person tht keeps calling & no msg left,, she is trying to sell insurance for appliances in phone,, i asked her to take me off phone call list
They called me AND my insurance agent demanding a copy of my policy. Myself and my agent ignored the call. I have now received a letter, on Wells Fargo letterhead, demanding a copy of my policy. There is no phone number to call, only a fax and a URL to my coverageinfo.com. My coverage is and has been paid in full the entire time, confirmed with Wells Fargo.
The URL is registered to Assurant Inc., with an administrative contact at Alston & Bird LLP.
This is either flat-out deception to change policies for someone's financial gain, or (more likely) there was an error in Wells Fargo's records that my insurance is not in effect.
Didn't answer, but I call it back and a recording came on and sad this isn't a working number.
