Received several calls from 866-951-8053 with a recording asking for someone named Doris to call. Don't pick-up when this number calls you. It must be a scam.

we purchased a vehicle with 'em six years ago, & that was soon as the recorded rings started. we have rang 'em seven or eight times since to get 'em to stop. Each time these people make excuses, however the rings keep on soon after six years! when you do business wiht them, dont GIVE 'em ur telephone no.

I just received a text message from this number inquiring about a vehicle I had for sale on craigslist. I found it a little odd after looking into how far away this number was located from me. They were over 4 hours from me so I figured it had to be a scam. No one would want to travel that far for a very low priced vehicle needing major repairs. I am waiting for a text reply after I texted back to let them know it was still available, but if I get a reply that they will send me a check for the asking price, I will delete it immediately. I appreciate the other comments giving me the heads up! I wish I had research PRIOR to texting back to begin with!

They don't leave messages. They have called before 6 am the last two days in addition to at least twice a day since summer. I am debt free and do not owe anyone money. There are other numbers doing the same thing: (877) 353-1611, 202-5429, 355-7209, 213-2767, (866) 211-1876.

This number showed up in a phishing email, claiming This is not a promotional e-mail. Please call us immediately at 1-800-931-1582 regarding recent activity on your Capital One Card Account. We're available 24/7 to take your call. But, it showed up at an email address used by the webmaster of a non-profit organization! So sorry, no card at this email address.

This is telemarketing from Discover Card Services. We get repeated calls from this number. They are trying to get you to sign up for a discover card. We are a business, and have told them not to call our number.

Using http://whois.domaintools.com/promocenterdaily.com, the reverse whois shows the owner created the website on 2/23/2012 and can be reached at [email protected] I see others received similar msg from 202-812-3226.

we had a ring with this no. 614-452-6094 RCS stating it is important that we ring 'em about our 'tax offset'. we did get a mail with state of ohio a whilst back about some taxes however we do not believe that this was their collection method. The Ohio solicitor generals office doesnt act in this manner. these people pass on a name & case info. we wont ring this no. back. Linda in Cleveland

Robot rang work telephone looking for no one & states 'This was NCO finance. Law requires that I notify you I am a debt collections agency. Please ring me at 1(800)273-5152. ' & subsequently hangs up. This was a business line that these people ring atleast two times a week, never ever looking for anyone.

No message left. I called the number and got a recording saying it wasn't a working number. I suspect it is a 'spoofed' number---perhaps from one of the scamming, so-called mortgage refi places.
