Received a call from a gu named Matt calling to my company wanting a window estimate. WHen I called back it was a hindo/spanish speaking that hardly could talk and yelled at me saying I had the wrong number and he was with 21 Century Realty.. although he ansered the phone with "hello".. not proffessional at all. Definitally losing business than gaining it in his case.

got a call from this number saying they are calling on behalf of Total Home Services with a message from the homeowner. I don't know the number or the company and when I asked what the message was I got the same speech, but the other party would not tell me the message, just kept asking if I was the home owner. I tried to log a complaint at the do not call site, but the site is overloaded and can't take a complaint at this time.

OK, let's analyze this. We get these calls, and most of the time they hang up. What is the value received for them? - Get a listing of active numbers to sell to other companies (many don't have their cell phones on the do not call list). - Get information on the people being called. I'm not sure about whether this is true, but an analysis of the connection might reveal: -- Age and sex of the callee -- Possibly some info on the receiving system (land line, cell phone, cell operating system?) If it is possible to extract info on the type of system being called, or to manipulate the signal so as to compromise a smart phone, this could be much more than just annoying.

phony phone number. I called back and got a message I needed to dial a '1' before dialing - which I had done already. when I did a search online I was told to correct my entry, which I had entered exactly as my phone showed. I am glad I wasn't home to pick up. Another number to be blocked!

I received an unsolicited fax to Sarah Cohen from Jackie Morretti stating it was a requested 'New Collections Proposal Overview'.It noted that it IS NOT an unsolicited fax but it was- No Sarah works in my office and the fax was transmitted at 12:56AM ESTThe collections proposal was too good to be true so I looked up DGM Financial and found these coments.

Received a call from this number on my cell phone. I answered it because it is also my business phone and I have not had a problem with junk calls. A recorded message told me that my debit card had been suspended and to press '1' to talk to someone. I called the number back and the answering system said I had reached a company called Paltalk. I was unable to get through to a person. An internet search reveals that this is some type of online viewing/ chat room provider.
