I have been registerd with DO NOT CALL since the beginning. For me, calls from this number just started a few weeks ago. I have not and never have done any business with HSBC. I have no clue why they would call me. I have tried ignoring the number, tried answering it in hopes of telling them to GO AWAY. No one is ever there. I've tried to call them back. But the number must not accept incoming calls.

Sent a text message to my mobile saying I won a $50 Starbucks gift card (offer ends today) and included a link to a website.
we happen to be getting rings with this no. for the past week or therefore about 5-7 time daily. we do not recognise who these people are however it is really irritating. these people never ever pass on msgs. Just incessant phoning!
Called but rang barely long enough for me to check the phone, much less answer it. Other comments (multiple sites) claim this is a robo-dialer intended to leave messages on answering systems, hence live answers are met with silence. Seems entirely pointless considering it won't ring long enough to go to the answering system unless it's already set to answer quickly.
we do not ever reply this ring however get a ring every couple of weeks. these people never ever pass on a msg. we had 2 rings earlier today within 5 minutes.

TeleScam perfected. The pleasant caller initially asks if you would like to have your company listed in their business directory. Of course - who wouldn't? The intial caller doesn't offer details of the cost or does he request a requisition or PO#. He's just setting the trap. A few weeks later an invoice arrives from a company you never heard of - it's (you guessed it) All Purpose Business Communications. Then a few weeks later their henchman, James, calls to harrass you for the overdue $499.95. When you request a faxed copy of the ad and/or a justification for their invoice - they get huffy. Ask them to remove/terminate the ad and they say "no can do". BBB rates them an "F". Telepest with deceptive marketing practices are their MO. Stay clear of APBC from NY.
