Calling-ID cannot ID. nor on line either. when you've to hide behind a bogus or non tracking telephone no., you are a bogus and scam artist.

This guy called my mother and said she had won $4.5 million and 2010 Mercedes. He never told her exactly why she had won it. He told her in order for her to get her prizes she would have to get $195 and put it into Western Union. He had her so convinced, that she almost did it.
I believe VERIZON is partially behind these calls. Here is my 'evidence'. My husband has a company cell ph that until recently was provided by 1 particular ph carrier. RARELY got spam calls. Then, about a wk ago, the co. decided to switch to VERIZON. But BEFORE they got their new phones/data plan, the company had to provide ALL THE #S of the cells to VERIZON. Guess what? Within LESS THAN 24 HOURS his ph. started ringing DAY & NIGHT w/these SPAM CALLS. All diff. #s/acs/states. ALL SPAM. WHAT does THAT tell U? Also, when we switched to VERIZON for internet - SAME THING HAPPENED. We went from 2-3 SPAM calls a month to 2-6 (SIX!) PER DAY.

Got a phone call from a KEVIN HUTCHINSON stating he was an investigator. He said a report hit his desk about a week ago and I need to call him regarding a fraud allegation immediately or else he would have to issue a warrant for my arrest. He left his number 202-400-3881...I called it back and a machine picked up and said: You have reached CAPITAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION...I left a message. This seems to be a scam or fraud...because first I have not done any such thing..two he did not state where he is. Lets see what the military investigators can find out for me!!!

Got this text message to my phone "Need cah now? Receive $100-$1500 direct to YOUR bank in 1hr! No credit check. Get instant approval at www.fundsforloan.com (optout, reply:stop)"
from searching google it looks like they get your number from a list from different sites, like mainly job posting sites. They're calling about higher education. I didn't answer them, I'm not accustomed to answering calls from numbers I do not know. Some of the postings said that they were rude, so pls be cautious of that. I have my bba, and in this economy I am certainly NOT looking for my mba anytime soon... goodluck y'all! yay!
i received a similar message about an accounts payable job.
I have applied for jobs in the accounting field recently.
I agree sounds fishy. An 855 number and they leave a text message, why not just call.me
Seriously harassing gay guys. Apparently there are two. Do not take them. They called me then said they went with someone else after just 15 minutes between their call to me and when I got back to them. Very lame.
'Card Services' Rachael. Pressed on to talk to human. Lower my interest rates, Visa, Mastercard. Told the guy I am aware he is a fraud. Laughter in background, with a hang up. Police in Kent, Washington need to get on this. Similar calls at home to my 'do not call' phone. Does no good.
Some sort of free giveaway scam, i did not bother to listen to the entire thing, my advice is beware of this number if it pops up on your incoming calls.
i started getting calls from this after filling out one of those deals for a 1000 dollar gas card due to being another american in financial ruin. sadly never got the card just these endless calls from this and alot of other numbers. regardless of how desparate you are don't fill for those cards.

I received a voicemail with a return call back number stating they had an employment opportunity for me. I am recently unemployed but it just didn't 'feel' right that a prospective employer would request a call back at an 877 number. I attempted to call back the number and receive a voicemail that stated the caller was unavailable and to leave a message. ???? What??? Nothing identified the name of the organization.
Ugh. i am only happy to recognise it is not just me civies receiving attacked by Spammers, however exactly what a annoyance!
This stupid number called my CELL PHONE at 3:30 in the morning last night. I cannot call it back because when I do, all I get is a weird tone and it hangs up.
caller ID actually showed 115619104713. Robocall which we receive frequently, 'Hi this is Rachel from Cardholder Services...' says it's urgent... offers rate reduction or something.
Do not bother trying to talk to a person or pressing the number to remove yourself from the list because it won't work. Well, maybe try once so you can tell FCC you tried.
Keep a log with dates and times, try to capture the number (either with caller ID if you have it, or use your telephone company's star code to get the last incoming call, usually *69), and file a report with FCC.
Got three calls from this number. They leave no message. I'm SO tired of all these junk calls on my cell phone.
Sending text messages stating "Great News! Your requested cash advance is now available! Get up to $5000 now! Use approval code: giveme visit: MONEY600.com"

Repeated calls from this unknown number with no voice message identification left. The area code on the phone registers to 'District of Columbia', and I called the number back. There is a voice recording with options regarding ' WFMT fine arts' membership benefits, etc.I did once contribute to WFMT years ago, and ordered a CD from them. I am very put off if they are soliciting me via telephone. I am certain that I never authorized their contact.Any suggestions as to how to get off these call lists would be appreciated.
