Received the following unsolicited text message: THE PRODIGAL SON RETURNS TONIGHT! ALOFT HOTEL!!! WINE-O WEDNESDAYS!!! I GOT YOUR STRESS RELIVER RIGH HERE BABY!
I received 6 calls in an hour from this number so I tried this reverse look up and based on the comments I read I added the number to the blacklist on my phone.
Thanks to all who commented.
person calling informed us that We are 'eligible to reduce the rates on our cards' without informing us how We are eligible, exactly what the rates are on our cards, & which cards we have. clearly the person calling is fishing for info, we assume, to defraud us.
We are receiving unwanted sms msgs with 317-731-9768 with random msgs. Once this is about loving me, abt a four yr shot in Texas & praying for that kid, abt exactly what We are doing. & therefore on. the 1st two msgs requested us to fwd that message on to others.
Not sure why every one seems so mad, Mr. Miller helped me out with my ACE account. He was polite, but firm. He has a job to do, like every one else. He gave me payments and when i was done paying him, ACE returned my title to me, about 2 weeks later. I know people get scammed, but the guys at Franklin, Ross and Associates are not a scam, or i wouldn't have been able to get my title back. I'm very pleased with the outcome of my situation.
it is 'save my vehicle'. I have no idea how they got my number or why they are calling me but they are obviously trying...to save my vehicle ; )
This caller Called Target.com knowing very well that we dont sell online nor at the store sex item as Dildos. And so I would like the authority to know about this case.
this will not quit phoning our celll. Sorry however their con was really obvious. poor ppl who do not use brain to make money the right way.
"You have just won a free $1000 Walmart Gift Card, Enter code "FREE" at http://dealwizard.biz/wm" Website was underlined. I attempted from my cell and it had a 5 minute counter to enter the code but code would not go through when I pressed "continue" and it also requested that I "like" this on Facebook. Had no luck with any of it. Thanks for any help.
This guy keeps calling me late at night to tell me about a gift card. I told him to take me off his list because he calls too late and I think it's a fraudulent deal. He then asked me for a KISS!!! I asked him if he wanted to go to jail. He hung up. SMH...
these people happen to be phoning & i am kinda concerned this was id theft! please report this when you can!

I get calls from this number at least once every day. They don't leave a message. When I google it on the web there are lots of reports of this number and say it's from White Plains, NY. I do not know anyone from there and I'm on the DoNotCall registry. I wish they would stop.

Called on a Sunday - did not appear to phase them when I objected to this. Attempting to collect on questionable debt? Said I would verify the debt with the debtor described - argued they would merely send me back to them. Informed them if they called again they would receive a cease and desist letter - again did not appear to phase them. Claimed the debt was five years old - even if it were valid, it would be beyond the statute of limitations.
Calls several times a day, sometimes starting shortly after 7 am. A woman sometimes leaves a message for me to call her at an 877 number but doesn't say where she's from.
If you found unauthorized charges made by a business with this number, call your bank to cancel your card and try to get your money back through them as well.
These middle eastern idiots have called me almost every day saying that there is a lawsuit against me for money for a cash advance that I never even did.....they have these accents but are using American names..oh and also a warrant for my arrest. We asked them when we supposedly took this loan out and they said November of 2010 and that we did it online which we didn't even have a computer back then, then we asked for an email address to validate all of this info and they couldn't even give us one....scammer scum is what these people are!Something needs to be done asap!
continous rings connected to a federal tax problem however offers no specific details seems just like a con
I get tend to get those calls from "UNKNOWN" numbers as well. Usually it only happens during the work hours, naturally, so I just hit ignore so I don't distract my fellow co-workers. But, ONE DAY, I tried to call them BACK and of course, it doesn't have a real number. I was FINALLY sick of the whole thing so AFTER work one day (like 5:30 or so), I ANSWERED the call and it was actually for a credit card OFFER. It wasn't for your normal Visa companies like Chase, Capital One, etc. It was for some bank I've never heard of. Therefore, not a bank in my area (I live in Richmond, VA). Maybe legit, maybe not. Also, the credit amount was EXTREMELY low--only $300 and it had a "processing fee" as well. Something like $45. I made up some story that I had some big-time inheritance check coming in the next couple of weeks and I wouldn't need the cash.
I get a call from this number every day. wheni answer, either no one is there or it's a recorded voice. Very annoying.

If you receive a call from this number, please report it to the DHS ICE Tip Line at 866-DHS-2-ICE (866-347-2423). Thank you.
Got a call this morning from this number. Recorded voice, 'Hi, My name is Mike'...blah blah. It was about how my business was selected to be helped because of the economy. It was from San Jose CA, I'm from PA.
Called my work number and home number and said call them about verifying my home address. To contact them, or legal papers would be filed. Spoke with someone named Bernard Gates. He gave a fax number of 909-212-3599. I called back and person said name of company was EPA Group, located in California. I think it is a scam of some sort.
