Got a phone call (9:18am) from an out-of-state number that I didn't "know" or recognize.
(Does this mean that they are involved in Interstate Fraud?)
They, of course, left no message.
As always, I didn't answer, but looked up the number here.
I am on the National Do-Not-Call List, and have been for over a couple of years now.
(I guess this is our government at work for us.)
I'm going to
and see if that can get the government to work for me, and stop these calls.
(Yes I will go through all those steps.) [I have also bookmarked these URL's.]
I have also assigned a silent ringtone to this number. (I am up to 54 now.)
We should all pile on.

I called this phone number back and an automated message came on stating that it was a marketing company and proceeded to tell me that if I do not want to be contacted by this company to dial '1'. So I did. Call ended. They called twice and left no message. I knew it wasn't important.
I don't know who this is but they like to call twice in a row and have never left voicemail or text message
There was a Dr. Oz video I watched about Pure Green Coffee, with no other ingredients. I had clicked on information and backed out deciding not to order. That's how they got my number and called back. They were polite, not pushy. My daughter works at Whole Foods so I am going to do a price comparison because she gets a discount. then I actually will probably order it and take it while I add more natural juicing to my diet. I am a random person who wants to lose weight that is looking into this product. Actually glad they called back now and told me what to watch out for. Dr. Oz endorses the green coffee extract because of the fresh chlorogenic acid (spelling?) and its fat burning properties, but not any individual company. And that is the scoop on this number. Hope this helps people.
This was a txt message to my phone saying I won a $1000 Target gift card. I did not enter any contest.
Message saying to call Kohl's department store during business hours with no reference to any account or reason. After at least 20 calls from the number, I called it - and then get a message to call 800-475-talk.
In fact, it is pretty funny. got this no. as a sms with a buddy & her joke 'virgin helpline. you will smile, trust us.
Try to tell me he was calling from a company and that I best call right away or there will be a law suite. I then told him the person he was calling for no longer worked here. I told him I needed the name of the Company he was calling from due to the fact I was taking all calls coming in for that person and forwarding to police, he then got a little shaken and tried to get my personal information, he asked me for my cell #, my age, then he told me he would not give me the name of his buisness and that he gave me a wrong phone # and that he needed my cell # in order for him to give me his #. I then got a phone call on the cell phone and I have his msg saved. He wanted my SS # and tried to scare me into calling back. .
This person/persons has rang us 25x in 3 weeks. we spoke to the local police about this. we eventually rang this afternoon & he requested us for us sixteen digit code for our account. we stated we got no account with who this is & informed his we spoke to the local police dept. & is on our way over there again. he stated he would delete our telephone no. . & we stated when we get one more ring the police would be rang in! I placed the caller on hold the first time.Called back with in 1 minute of the first call. Said the same things as above. When I said 'Speak English.' He said, 'No, Hablo espanol.' to which I replied: 'Please take me off you calling list. Please.' to which he hung up.
Calls about 7-10 times a day for the past week or so. I believe it is a telemarketing service linked to online surveys and such.
